Inspired by the past and reimagined for the future, Seven Seas Grandeur™ will personify our heritage of perfection.

Nassau, Bahamas
The 700 islands of the Bahamas Islands begin 50 miles off the coast of Florida, stretching 760 miles to the southeast. The heritage of Old Nassau blends the Southern charm of British loyalists from the Carolinas, the African tribal traditions of freed slaves, and a bawdy history of blockade-running during the Civil War and rum-running in the Roaring 1920s. Over it all is a subtle layer of civility and sophistication, derived from three centuries of British rule.

Royal Naval Dockyard, Bermuda
Splendid Royal Naval Dockyard is filled with shops, museums, pubs and restaurants and is only a short ferry ride from Hamilton and St. George. Immerse yourself in the laid-back and amiable Bermuda atmosphere, whether you’re strolling through the charming shops or visiting the Maritime Museum. Royal Naval Dockyard was built for the British Navy as a base between Halifax and the West Indies. The Georgian-style fort later served as a North Atlantic base during both World Wars.

Norfolk, Virginia
Norfolk, Virginia is a Southern seaport with a storied past that blends history and heritage with contemporary activities and attractions. Minutes away are the world’s largest naval base, Naval Station Norfolk, and also the white sandy beaches of the Chesapeake Bay. Norfolk is your gateway to Virginia Beach, historic Jamestown or colonial Williamsburg, and Hampton Roads, site of the world’s first battle between iron ships during the Civil War.

Charleston, South Carolina
Founded in 1670 by a group of English aristocrats as an intended moneymaking venture, ‘Charles Towne’ swiftly boomed, exporting products from the region’s rice and cotton plantations. The Civil War started on Charleston’s very doorstep at Fort Sumter, strategically situated on an island in the harbor. Combining history and plenty of Southern charm, Charleston is a compelling place to visit. Tour the historic district by horse-drawn carriage and discover stately homes adorned with wooden shutters, ironwork balconies, leafy patios and hidden gardens. Watch Gullah weavers create sweet grass baskets and immerse yourself in this friendly city’s ante-bellum ambiance.

Port Canaveral, Florida
In modern times, the central section of Florida's Atlantic Coast has come to be known as the Space Coast. Though the former Soviet Union won the "space race" by launching the first manned space flight, the U.S. base of operations was Cape Canaveral Air Force Base and its Kennedy Space Center was then home of NASA operations. In stark contrast to the "High Tech" space industry, the surrounding area is a wildlife preserve, and is a major breeding ground for many endangered seabirds.
