On Taiwan’s east coast, hike across elevated boardwalks and suspension bridges that wind into the towering marble valleys and thundering waterfalls of Taroko Gorge National Park. Visit the historic Cabo Engano lighthouse on Palaui Island. Beachcomb on the idyllic shores, and explore the aquatic paradise of Catanduanes and Cuatro Islas. Explore local handicraft markets and visit the churches, houses and shrines of Marinduque, home of the culturally significant kalutang instrument.
